Thai exports of natural rubber fell 13% in the first half of this year.

THE Thailand exported 1.203 million tons of natural rubber were produced in the first half of this year, a 13% drop compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the local government. 

Individually, Thai shipments of Standard Rubber (STR) fell 16% during the period, to 673,000 tons; exports of Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS) decreased by 2%, to 192 tons; and latex shipments fell 13%, to 329,000 tons.
