CS Brazil 26/27 crop update: cane crushing increases 1.4% in 1H May

● Cane crushing in CS Brazil reached 42.35 mmt in 1H May, up 1.4% YoY, according to MAPA, bringing the cumulative total since April 1 to 104.87 mmt (+33.8% YoY).

● TRS level increased 4.4% to 123.71 kg/tc in 1H May.

● Sugar production mix fell 9.3 p.p. YoY to 42.4% in 1H May.

● Sugar production totaled 2.116 mmt in 1H May, up 13.2% YoY, reaching 4.620 mmt on a cumulative basis since April 1 (+12.3% YoY).

● Total ethanol production increased 46.7% year-on-year to 5.557 billion liters since April 1, of which 1.150 billion liters came from corn (+7.4% YoY).
