CS Brazil: cane crushing reaches 39.23 mmt in 1H Jun

● Despite a rainy weather, cane crushing in CS Brazil reached 39.23 mmt in 1H June, up 3.0% YoY, according to MAPA.

● On a cumulative basis since Apr 1st, cane crushing totaled 185.33 mmt until June 16, 13.2% more than same period of 25/26.

● On average, mills reduced the sugar production mix by 6.0 p.p. YoY to 44.76% in 1H June.

● Industrial yield increased 6.8% YoY to 138.19 kg YTRS/tc in 1H Jun.Industrial yield increased 6.8% YoY to 138.19 kg YTRS/tc in 1H Jun.

● As a result, sugar production reached 2.31 mmt in 1H Jun, down 3.0% YoY, totaling 9.12 mmt since Apr 1st (-3.1% YoY).

● Ethanol production increased 21.4% YoY to 2.15 bi liters in 1H Jun, of which 395 million liters coming from corn (+12.7% YoY).
