We had the opportunity to bring together authorities, experts, and business leaders from both countries around a common goal: strengthening food security and increasing the predictability of trade relations. The receptiveness to the messages presented and the quality of the debates demonstrate the high degree of maturity and trust that characterizes the relationship between Brazil and China,” assesses the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin. According to Santin, the significant participation registered at the event confirms the relevance of the topic for the future of global food supply. “Brazil and China share strategic responsibilities in global food security. The interest shown by the participants, the presence of important Chinese and Brazilian authorities, and the extremely constructive environment of the discussions reinforce that we are moving in the right direction, building solutions based on science, cooperation, and mutual benefit,” he emphasizes.
